For my fellowship with CLSMF, I was part of the team responsible for ensuring the prototype Artificial Intelligence (AI) system provided useful output of potential consumer protection issues. I assisted with convening a group of stakeholders to conduct a landscape assessment, working with partners, vendors, and stakeholders to understand how to classify different consumer protection issues, identifying criteria to be used in evaluating quality data in the output from the prototype, and evaluating the output from the prototype in iterative testing sessions.
