Within my fellowship, I worked on a collaboration between Legal Services NYC, JustFix.nyc, and Pro Bono Net to integrate digital tools and other technology into LSNYC's Housing Repair and Harassment clinics to support LSNYC clients and pro se tenants outside of the clinics seeking repairs and/or facing harassment. The goal of the partnership was to connect JustFix.nyc with PBN's LawHelp Interactive - a document assembly program - to create a streamlined user experience for pro se tenants filing cases against property owners for repairs. The project greatly enhanced the ability of LSNYC to support tenants in need of repairs and/or facing landlord harassment as well as assist pro se litigants to navigate the court process on their own.
