Srimathi Kannan

My fellowship project at Legal Services of Greater Miami focused on developing and testing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to map the needs of the community and identify areas of client need. I also assisted with testing and documenting advanced data analytics for the statewide online intake application developed by Legal Services. In addition, I worked on enhancing the Florida Online Intake (FLOI) application by including the Florida Senior Legal Helpline (FSLH) and Florida Veterans Legal Helpline (FVLH) and adding analytics to obtain more detailed data about the time spent on applications and eligibility determinations. I helped test and refine the FSLH and FVLH logic and the analytics in the FLOI application, conducted user testing, created reports for the helplines, and helped create reports for the analytics.
