My fellowship project focused on preventing evictions and helping families at risk of losing their homes due to the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project involved developing an eviction website that provided legal assistance to low-income tenants who were at risk of or facing eviction. I worked on automating court forms and creating content to simplify the legal process for eviction, as well as building and organizing content for over 40 legal topics on the Arkansas legal help website and designing an accessible interface in both English and Spanish. The goal of the project was to ensure that eviction protection services were available to those who needed them most.
