As an Access to Justice Technology Fellow, I was a member of a team dedicated to overhauling LouisianaLawHelp.org, the state's free online legal information website aimed at low-income people. The goal was to modernize the site's visual elements and navigation, streamline the site's content, and optimize the site for mobile users. By updating LouisianaLawHelp.org, SLLS could work to bridge the justice gap by connecting people with information about civil legal aid, pro bono services, and by broadcasting information and resources about basic legal issues.
