My fellowship project assessed and worked to improve the courts civil filing system to accommodate SLR filings by building an online document assembly tool for commonly filed court documents. To do this, I reviewed state, local, and administrative filing rules and interviewed key stakeholders for input on guided-instruction features. I also researched, analyzed, and recommended the resource tools to be used for this project. I built and implemented the web-based document assembly tool based on user feedback and data gathered. Following the completion of the project I engaged with legal service organizations, bar associations, and key stakeholders to promote the document assembly tool.
